Backstage musician

Backstage musician was made for the GMTK Game Jam 2023. The theme was "roles reversed".  That's why, in this game... :

Game Description

You are a backstage musician : you are in charge of the music in the game !

You follow an adventurer going through his usual quests of killing monsters. But what is an adventure without music?

Play different music presets to improve the adventurer's mood, which will buff him during fights!

How long can you assist the adventurer until he dies in battle?

Unfortunately, I could not implement more thing during this game jam. However, here are some things I wanted to add to build on this theme:

• Music cooldowns, so that you can not spam them and get unlimited buffs
• If you play not in rythm, the adventurer get lazy/demotivated/angry and will fight poorly
• The player should show emotes to display his status (happy, motivated, or not)
• More adventure "auto-quest" to have more difficulty and more interaction with the adventurer through music
• Implement also sound effects, like slash sound when the adventurer hit to improve critical damage chances, footstep to walk faster, ...
